A Source of Anxiety – A Collection of Poems

Daily Prompt: A Source of Anxiety

Write about a noise — or even a silence — that won’t go away. (We’ll let you interpret this in different ways…)

Photographers, artists, poets: show us ANXIETY.

Here is a small collection (well a trio) of poems on anxiety. I decided if I have to put it into words, poetry is better.

When you get to that point, where you can’t get out of bed
Where you’d rather just lie there and fill up your head
With everything that’s wrong
Cuz nothing’s going right
Then its time to get up
And just turn on
The light…

a whistle
a tap
a tickle
then snap!

It all comes at once
Not at all out of the blue
You can just feel it
